They had to be pretty tough and determined in those days. Having said that flying seems to be a man’s world again today. I wonder why with so many wonderful role models. Beautifully written thanks. An inspiration.

Yes I’m sure there are. I feel a bit old to start but if I was younger I think I might have pursued it as a profession having been inspired by such wonderful role models in history 🙂
